Vachiralai School , Nong Phueng, Saraphi District, Chiang MaiEstablished in 1999(2002. School is a private educational institution inspired by a mission tofoster disciplined, resilient students who excel both mentally and physically Over the years,the school has grown significantly starting with two foundational grade levels in 2002 andexpanding its infrastructure continually, including multi story classroom buildings addedbetween 2004(2005 to keep pace with rising enrolment .In line with its vision, the school recognizes that English language proficiency and globalawareness are crucial skills for students in an interconnected world. To advance these goals,the school intends to introduce an International Volunteer Hosting Program. By welcomingnative and non-native English-speaking volunteers into the classroom, the school aims to:1.Accelerate English communication skills via immersive and interactive learningexperiences.2.Expose students to new cultures, broadening their global perspectives.3.Support local teachers through collaborative lesson planning and fresh languageteaching approaches.This initiative builds on existing momentum such as the schools participation in Chamber ofCommerce-affiliated programs and modern coding/AI training signaling a readiness tnrich its offerings further with volunteer-led English activities

工作 / WORK

International volunteers at Vachiralai School play an important role in supportingstudents English language development and intercultural understanding. Workingalongside Thai teachers, volunteers contribute both inside and outside the classroomthrough the following tasks:- Facilitating English Communication Activities- Volunteers will lead or assist in classroom activities that encourage students to useEnglish in real-life situations. These may include games, group discussions, roleplays,storytelling, and pronunciation practice to help build students confidence inspeaking.- Supporting English Teachers- Volunteers collaborate with English language teachers in lesson planning andimplementation, especially by offering a global perspective and authentic use of thelanguage.- Organizing Cultural Exchange SessionsVolunteers are encouraged to share elements of their own cultures such astraditions, food, music, or celebrations through presentations or informal activities.These interactions help promote mutual respect and curiosity among students.- Providing Informal Learning Opportunities- Beyond formal lessons, volunteers can engage with students during breaks, lunch,or school events, creating more natural and relaxed environments for Englishconversation.- Participating in School Activities- Volunteers are welcome to join school events, festivals, or extracurricular programs,contributing to the community spirit and further connecting with students and staff.Through these tasks, volunteers help create an engaging and globally connectedlearning atmosphere, making a lasting impact on the students language skills andworldview.

住宿和食物 / ACCOMODATION AND FOOD

AccommodationVolunteers will stay in the teachers residence located within the schoolcampus. This on-site accommodation offers a safe and convenient livingenvironment, just a short walk from the classrooms and main facilities.Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as a bed, fan, electricity,and access to a shared or private bathroom. The school provides acomfortable and welcoming atmosphere, allowing volunteers to focus ontheir role while experiencing Thai daily life.FoodAll meals will be provided at the school.Volunteers will enjoy freshly prepared Thai meals, typically served in theschools dining area. This arrangement allows volunteers to dine alongsideteachers and students, promoting informal interactions and cultural exchangeduring mealtimes.Special dietary needs can be accommodated upon request, and school staffwill assist volunteers in settling in and making the most of their experience.Let me know if you d like a Thai version or if you d like to include a samplemeal plan
