Rajaprajanugroh 24 School located in the northern Thailand connected to Laos border. The school is under the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under Royal Patronage which supports education, food and accommodation for the children who have social problem issues, for example, no parents or gradients, family economic suffering, etc.There are about 1,000 students that can come and stay at the school from the primary (7 years old) to high school (18 years old). Most of the students in this school are from hill tribe villages. This is a boarding school.Schools need international volunteers to create activities for students to improve English for communication and create an intercultural environment in the school.

工作 / WORK

Volunteers will work as English teachers assistant, preparing lessons or English Camp with the teacher at the school.Creative teaching English ( Non-formal education tools can be used for creative teaching; volunteer is not required teaching certificate but required to be creative. Aims of creative teaching is giving the chance for students in the school and local community to have an opportunity to communicate with different languages and learn different cultures.Volunteer will receive teaching schedule after arrival at the school.Volunteers would use Non-formal education tools to make activities based on intercultural and language such as the games, songs, storytelling, and dancing. Also, it should focus on communication; listening and speaking.The activity after school ( because the students stay at the school dormitory, they always have extra activities after school. The volunteer can join them to make a more closed relationship. It will be a good opportunity to exchange the different cultures and activities. Students are learning occupation skill activities such as organic farming, handicraft, organic products. (Schedule 15th June - 5th July 202615th Jun. (Mon) Introduction Day/start the projectVolunteer will form the group of 2-3 people per team prepare the activities for students in each class using non-formal education tools such as game song. In each tools put the topics that related to InterCultural and Language knowledge. 20th-21st Jun. (Weekend) Free22nd-26th Jun. (Weekday) ICL activities in school 27th-28th Jun. (Weekend) Free29th June-3rd July (Weekday) ICL activities in school 4th July Wrap up, Evaluation/Farewell5th July Departure DayThe program is changeable on the real situation

Volunteers will stay at the school accommodation. Shared one big room, separate male and female. Bedding will be providedFood will be provided at the school canteen.Internet wifi is available in the school.

(ex Sawasdee) is a non-profit (NPO)/non-government (NGO) / a peace organization that coordinates international voluntary projects for people of all ages, cultures, religious and economic backgrounds.
Our work is based on the belief that all people are capable of living together and cooperating with mutual respect and without recourse to violence to solve conflicts.
Through international voluntary work we aim to give people the chance to experience this way of living whilst contributing in a useful manner to the community.
Volunteer Spirit Association had started its activities in 2008 and organized first international workcamp in 2009. The first group of international volunteer was from NICE (Never-ending International workcamps Exchange) Japan
