  • Design, Creativity, Evolution and Inclusion are the keys of our project. We will work a social wall painting and through photography, collage and imagination we will create and design a fanzine and a calendar that can accompany us throughout 2020 and that can remind us of our journey during the last 10 years. The freshness and the contribution of the campers with the orientations of the staff... they will do the rest.1. Elaboration of the artistic mural in a central place in Alcorisa and / or high visibility:- Design of main ideas for its development.- The idea and design of the campers together with the collaboration of the public will serve to create the final mural.- Encourage the creativity of volunteers and people with Intellectual Disability.- Create a mural that lasts over time and contributes to a change of image of the environment.2.- Development of a Fanzine / Calendar:These two communication supports will be developed through different techniques such as:- Tell ideas through collage images- Cropped photographs- Dialogues with balloon written by hand or cut out of texts.- Stories with meaning that can be part of a calendar or be only a dossier / comic to remember.- Layout, printing, binding and digitalization.An added value that we can give to this Product is to turn it into something supporting, that in some way, there may be copies for sale that empower the work of volunteering and the application to a purpose that aims to impact society make it more inclusive. Question that will be assessed once the field of work is completed.
  • The volunteers will be located in CRIET (An educational innovation center of the province of Teruel) in Alcorisa. It is an educational resource with accommodation and has places distributed in community rooms and areas for staff. The center also has a spacious dining room, living room, game room, wifi area and access to the gym and sports facilities. The sheets and towels will be provided for free. There is no need to take sleeping bags. There will be homemade food provided (breakfast, lunch and the dinner)Every day, local cooks will prepare homemade food, which is based on Mediterranean diet, with the possibility to adapt it to any specific diet. The youths will be divided in shifts groups to help in the dining room.
  • ALCORISA ( is a village with 3.700 inhabitants, placed in the Region of the Low Aragon, where the common language spoken is Spanish. The village center is near the Guadalopillo River and at the foot of the Sierra del Caballo, where are many caves. The area is surrounded by olive trees, crop plants, peach trees, small trees, pine forests and a variety of aromatic plants.There are many places of cultural interest: The Monte Calvario where every year there is performed the Cross Drama during Easter. The Gallipuen swamp, The Park of the Guadalopillo river, la Pena de San Juan, etc. The campers will have the opportunity to choose the activity from the following list: Teruel and Albarracin, Alcaniz, Cultural Park in Maestrazgo, Crystal Caves of Molinos, hiking activities in the pools of river Bergantes in Aguaviva, Berge, Alcaniz Lake, Region Matarrana. Mine museum and hiking by river Martin.- Visits: Iberian Museum, Museum School and Easter Museum of Alcorisa. Excavation Site El cabo (Andorra)- Meetings with youth from Alcorisa to know their customs, traditions and leisure activities in summer. - Participation in an activity of children s entertainment in Alcorisa- Elaboration of a community activity with massive participation.- Organization of an accessible activity for people with intellectual disability.- Festive (celebration) activities in the close area.

SVI is the Spanish association which represents the Spanish workcamps managed by the Autonomous Regions (except those in Catalonia). We are under the Institute of Youth (Injuve).

Injuve, an Autonomous Department of the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality, has, for some years now, been promoting specific programmes which are aimed at increasing and favouring different travel possibilities for young people. This enables those under 30 years of age to become aware of other realities, visit other places and have access to other cultures.

Included among these programmes is one known as International Voluntary Service (SVI), which deals only with workcamps. These are aimed at youth between 18 and 26 years old and their main objectives are:

- To encourage conduct that will favour the exchange of ideas and young people’s global development. This is achieved by volunteering and from the contributions made by youth from their own experience. This strengthens intercultural learning processes, personal development and the reinforcement of democratic values.

- To integrate experiences, personal knowledge and the global development of youth in the carrying out of an activity, within the framework of voluntary service.
The Youth Institute co-ordinates the exchange of places for young Spaniards wanting to volunteer in foreign workcamps and foreigners wanting to volunteer in Spanish workcamps. The Spanish workcamps are managed by the Autonomous Regions.
